About
Our cows and pigs live and grow in woods and pastures on Lowland Farm. Our farm (preserved through state and local programs) borders the Pochuck Creek and the black dirt fields of Pine Island in Warwick, NY, in the heart of the Mid-Hudson Valley. Cows are mixed breeds of Angus, Hereford, & Devon who graze on grass in the summer and eat hay harvested from the bottomlands of our farm in the winter. Pigs are heritage breeds who live on feed and the fruits of their foraging. Not crowded into feedlots, cow and pigs neither need nor receive antibiotics. They grow naturally, free of growth-promoting hormones.
